The sonic series was doomed from the start. Even the older games werent that good. the only good character was Knuckles

There is Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (XBL/PSN/WiiWare)... That is one of the few new Sonic games I would consider trying.

dude pete do u even hav a soul sonic was awesome sega was a genius for making sonic and shadow is way cooler than knuckles

in the older games, u go too fast, you cant see ahead of you, and you'll either hit spikes or an enemy that wwas invisible because you were going to fast. Shadow is just an emo whereas Knuckles is a tough, strong fighter
